Shameful

It doesn't matter if torture worked (and I don't believe it did). It's torture. It's against the law. Ergo, a criminal investigation is in order. Murder works (assuming the objective is to get rid of someone). Bank robbery works (if the objective is getting some money). And so on. A key way to make crime NOT work is by investigating and prosecuting it. So again, it's against the law. This is not a partisan opportunity; it is our national shame. Appoint a Special Prosecutor already.
